Leaves in the Wind

"A wonderful story of life, love and learning to live again. It is an enjoyable mix of everyday drama, paranormal elements of telepathy and hesitant romance. Each time that Tara found herself in the minds of her patients, I could feel their pains, their issues, and Tara’s own reactions. I could see how she wanted to be so emotionally involved with their lives. Watching Dan’s turmoil ripped at my heart, and watching him grow strong again, had me cheering every step of the way. The reaction between these two characters really made me want to get to know them. Gail DeYoung did a fabulous job creating smooth plots and believable characters. All in all, Leaves in the Wind is a delightful story and a quick read."

"The characters are well developed and the plot well thought out for the most part. I loved little Amy’s character; she stole the story even when she was unconscious. Overall it was an enjoyable tale."

"Having a comatose daughter myself, I can sympathize with Dan Turner's grief and Tara's desire to do everything she can to help Dan's daughter return to reality. Love coupled with realistic expectations, positive actions, and a healthy faith in God really do make a difference in caring for an invalid, even one who seems to be unconscious all of the time."
